Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Voxa, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the software. These terms apply to all versions of Voxa across all platforms.

Description of Service

Voxa is a voice dictation application that converts speech to text using on-device processing. The software is available in Free, Pro, and Enterprise tiers. All speech recognition processing occurs locally on your device — Voxa does not transmit voice data to external servers.

License Grant

Voxa grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software for personal or commercial purposes in accordance with your subscription tier. You may install Voxa on devices that you own or control. Pro and Enterprise licenses may be used on multiple devices linked to a single account.

Subscription and Payment

The Free tier provides access to core dictation features with a weekly word limit at no cost. Pro and Enterprise tiers require a paid subscription. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days notice to existing subscribers. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you have not used the Pro features substantially.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Voxa software; use the software to develop competing products; redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software; use the software for any purpose that violates applicable law; attempt to circumvent subscription tier limitations or usage caps; or use automated systems to abuse the service.

Your Content

All text generated by Voxa from your voice input belongs to you. Voxa does not claim any rights to your transcriptions, dictionary entries, or any other content you create. Since all processing is local, we do not have access to your content and cannot use it for any purpose.

Intellectual Property

Voxa, its logo, and all associated software, models, and documentation are the intellectual property of Voxa and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. The speech recognition models included with Voxa are licensed for use within the application only and may not be extracted, copied, or used independently.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Voxa is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of transcriptions, uninterrupted service, or fitness for a particular purpose. Speech recognition accuracy varies based on audio quality, dialect, background noise, and other factors.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Voxa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the software. Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the software in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Voxa and delete the software at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your license to use the software ends. Your locally stored data (dictionary, preferences) remains on your device unless you delete it manually.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the application or by email to registered users at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Voxa after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
